TOPIC: GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY
TEXT: 1 KINGS 8:12-30
In his prayer, King Solomon recalled the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord for keeping His promises to King David, his father He said that what the Lord promised with His mouth, He fulfilled with His hands. Thus, Solomon gave all the glory and credit for his accomplishments to God used kings David and Solomon in the process but Solomon rightly realized that God. Yes, God could have chosen to use just anybody in Israel and His choice to use his family was just by grace. So, rather than being proud and boastful about his personal accomplishments, Solomon thanked, worshiper and gave God all the glory. This should be our right attitude and response to God when He blesses us with anything.
When God grants you success, how do you behave and respond to Him?
Oh God, help me to thank and give You all the glory when you grant me success in anything, in Jesus name, Amen.
