TOPIC: THE GOOD YOU DO TEXT: MATTHEW 15 : 29 - 31 It takes a lot of sacrifices to be good to others, despite the fact that some who benefit from your benevolence hardly appreciate it, with time many even reciprocate, either directly or indirectly. In the case of Christ, He left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of Decapolis (Mark 7:31). Matthew did not give the details of this trip in vs. 29. But the point is that, despite the long distance Jesus covered in order to be in the region of Decapolis, the crowd still followed Him there. This crowd was a mixture of both the healthy and the sick (vs. 30). It is commendable that the crowd experienced healing at the feet of Christ which showed in the overwhelming joy that they could not hide.
QUESTION In what ways are you doing good to those that are not necessarily your blood relations? PRAYER Oh Lord, help me to do good to others to the best of my ability, in Jesus name, Amen.
