TOPIC: BILDAD'S WRONG ACCUSATIONS TEXT: JOB 8: 1 - 22 The interaction between Bildad and Job is shorter than that between him and Eliphaz but it was more devastating to Job. Bildad wrongly assumed that Job trusted another god or something other than the God of Israel and told him that supporting any other god would be an exercise in futility. Bildad was upset that Job was claiming innocence while questioning God's justice. Having rubbed salt into Job's wound, Bildad was telling Job that God would restore him to his rightful place if he was pure and upright as if Job had not been looking up to God and God Himself had not testified snout Job's purity and uprightness. Can you imagine the pain of the wrong accusation?
Do you always display a holier-than-thou attitude towards others? PRAYER
Lord, please help me to be a blessing to others rather than a judge, in Jesus' name, Amen.
